Our Winery
Visiting our winery means embarking on a journey where you can experience firsthand and uniquely the history of our company, the people who founded it and continue to run it, their vision, and the territory of Bolgheri.
From Tuesday to Saturday, we are pleased to welcome you for tours and tastings at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, by reservation only.
Each wine experience we offer includes an overview of the Bolgheri wine district and the history of our winery, closely tied to the founding of the Bolgheri DOC Appelation. Next, you will visit the historic cellar carved into the rock, with its amphorae, iconic concrete tanks, and French oak barriques. The visit concludes with a tasting of our wines, accompanied by local bread and our own olive oil.
We are an artisan winery producing a limited number of bottles. Therefore, we inform you that wine availability may vary. If you’re interested in a particular wine, please feel free to contact us at visites@michelesatta.com

Visit and Tasting BOLGHERI

The tour begins with a story that traces the history of a man, Michele, of a family, the Satta family, of an adventure, wine production. It continues with a description of the grapes, the seasonal specifics of the vineyard, and the characteristics of the area’s soils.
This is followed by a visit to the historic winery carved into the rock.
To conclude, pleasantly seated on the panoramic terrace, a tasting of 4 wines from the winery takes place.

Visit and Tasting SELECTIONS

The tour begins with a story that traces the history of Michele, his family and his adventure as a wine producer. It continues with a description of the grapes, the seasonal specifics of the vineyard, and the characteristics of the area’s soils.
This is followed by a visit to the historic rock-hewn cellar, where guests can enter the heart of the winery with an exclusive tasting of samples taken directly from the barrels and two old vintages selected from the limited cellar reserve.
To conclude, pleasantly seated on the panoramic terrace, there is a tasting of all the winery’s Superior wines including the latest “Marianova” fruit of the selection of grapes from Vignanova, the winery’s excellent vineyard.

Simple tasting

Tasting of three glasses of wine without a guided tour during shop opening hours (17:00-18.30 p.m.).
We have created these three tasting experiences to accommodate those who are unable to joint the full tours or cannot participate for other reasons. These are simpler and less technical experiences compared to the full tours, but they still provide a comprehensive overview of our production.
